Fremakajo is the avant-garde rock and experimental music quartet formed by the legendary English multi-instrumentalist and composer Fred Frith. Known as a co-founder of the seminal avant-rock collective Henry Cow, Frith launched this new ensemble to explore a playful mix of sturdy, quirky riffs, structured compositions, and headlong free improvisation. Notably, while Frith is world-famous for his boundary-pushing guitar work, he exclusively plays the electric bass and viola in this specific project.
